Christian Brothers who Served at Laval

To do and to teachThe Irish Christian Brothers played a major role in the educational development of students in the Placentia area from 1968 to 1991. The lives of many students were enriched by their dedication of time and talent. In addition to the time spent giving students a good sound academic education, they coordinated numerous activities including drama, various sports (in particular basketball), public speaking, spirit weeks, retreats, school newspapers, concerts, and fishing trips, just to name a few. The spiritual and moral development of the students in their care was always a priority whether the students were in the classroom or on the basketball court. Their work was their vocation and their loyalty was to their founder,
Edmund Rice. This loyalty was quite evident in the years they spent at Laval High School.

Here is a list of the Christian Brothers who served at Laval since its opening in September, 1968 to their departure in June, 1991.
