Formerly the PC Member for the District of St.Mary's -The Capes, Fabian Manning was re-elected to the House of Assembly as Member for the District of Placentia - St. Mary's in the general election of February 9, 1999.

Mr. Manning has served as Opposition Critic for the portfolios of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, and Government Services and Lands, and is a Member of the Public Accounts Committee and a Member of the PC Caucus Strategy Committee. He currently serves as the Opposition Critic for the portfolios of Employment and Labour, and Government Services and Lands.

    Mr. Manning, who resides in St. Bride's in St. Brides with his wife and children, is working daily to help the people of his district.
